About Jen Holdsworth

My name is Jennifer Holdsworth. I am the Mom of amazing twin boys and an entrepreneur. A few years ago, my husband and I sold a portion of our 30-year-old business. After the sale I decided to take a break and enjoy as much time as possible with my boys who will be heading off to college this fall.

During my ‘downtime’ I explored a passion and hobby buying, refinishing and repurposing vintage furniture. People loved the style, the pieces sold, and I found myself doing custom work helping clients craft the perfect look for their home.

I expanded the business from a hobby into a couple of rented spaces in existing vintage marketplaces which was great, but I felt as though it wasn’t enough, there could be something more.

Along my search for more, I met a local antique store owner and rented space in his store where I learned more about his business and knew that I had discovered what was missing … I was addicted to searching for unique, vintage, antique, heirloom and artisan pieces that would help a client complete their space … helping them successfully resolve their quest for the perfect piece!

That journey has culminated in the opening of Pieces located at 188 Main Street in the beautiful Connecticut coastal town of Old Saybrook.
